Yael stone, a New York City-based Australian resident, was the character Lorna Morello in Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael has a degree from NIDA. Yael despite her young age, has had the privilege of learning from one of Australia's best storytellers. Yael has a successful career with a thriving career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael was thrilled to discover her new home after the Brooklyn Academy of Music, where the show played with high praise, was the place she now calls New York City. Yael is co-founder the company The Cannery. Based in a Bushwick, Brooklyn studio, The Cannery promotes new creativity, creative writing and innovative initiatives, and encourages the formation of new writers.
